Last day at LINC013

this was the last class in this semester. I wish, I can skip next level but i can't . Many of us are going in college. I have to take one more course. It might be help me to improve my English.

Elaine Soffere

Tomorrow I will go to college, but may be I will pass a bad bay. Tomorrow is the last day of your class with us. I wish this is my one and only LINCC program class. If I want to join your class, it may be  impossible. I miss you very much as a teacher or as a friend. Last few days u write on the board last blogging, but I think  , this is the start of my blogging. I wish, you read my blog after ten years later. If I will  successful, tell your grandchildren he was my student. He took his first class in the U.S.A. in my class. Thanks again for be a good teacher.

When I first came in class in NCC, I don't think. I  will get a good teacher, I was  very worried about teacher and class, but I successfully pass the half of the semester.

Henna or Mehendi

Now I am telling about henna. Henna is a name of a small plant. but my subject is not that. I am talking about the use of henna specially its leaps.

Henna is a name of Art. It use in India and Arab world. Henna art has been used to adorn and elaborate woman's hands and feet for social and holiday celebrations. In Bangladesh, the night before wedding is called "Mahendi Raat". In this night all relatives and friend of the bride gather at the bride's house. We have a big party in this night.

Sari

Sari is a Indian subcontinental traditional clothing. Indian Subcontinental means Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. Normally women are wearing  this but in special occasions girls are wearing saris. It is very popular in our country. Brides are using expensive saris. the color of saris are mainly red or pink in the weddings. Every Bangladeshi wear sari in special occasions like Eid, Noboborsho and also in Weddings.

Noboborsho

Noboborsho means Bangla New Year. Like many others countries, Bangladesh has a different calender. In Bangladesh, we observe Bengali New year on 14 April. We wear traditional clothing that day. We take traditional food in the morning. All government and non government offices , schools are closed that day. We celebrate the day with music, meet with people. We have a parade in the morning. We carry different kinds of poster, statue and different things which represent our cultures and customs.

Obama wins Nobel Prize

I don't believe when I see Barak Obama wins Nobel Peace  Prize this year, but it is the truth. Obama breaks all record. He is the first Afro-American president in the U.S.A. Now he gets the Nobel prize. He creates a new climate in international politics. Obama takes many controversial decision as a American President. He wins Nobel Peace Prize, it is also very controversial. Many people don't like him but he is my hero. I think he deserves the prize.

My speech about Phone card & Coins

Last week I gave my speech in front of the class. now I give you my speech to all.

        My obsession is collecting phone cards or coins. Someone think what is this? Collecting phone card ! We hear someone collect coins but we never heard someone collect phone card. Or someone think what is phone card?  I think everyone use phone card or calling card here to call home. In here we use the same calling card every time. We don’t collect it. But my phone cards are from different countries . I have 53 countries phone card. I collect them form my brother, uncles or friends. Sometimes I buy them. Many of my card gave me my brother. He is a marine engineer. He goes many countries for his job. When I was 11 years old he gave me like 35 phone card from different countries. But I don’t like those that’s why I threw  it in my bed. But when I came my bed I saw the beauty of one card. The card front was mother loves her children. I liked the card and started to find difference of the cards. I got a new topic to pass the time. And I started to collect the phone card. Now when I find a new card I try to find where the country in the map, their language, capital city how the people lives there, about their lifestyle, currency everything. There is different kind of phone card. Some is regular we see all time with the pin number but some phone card has the SIM card attested . Some card you can use only once but some card you can a lot of times. I have a Zimbabwean phone card which is cost 80 million dollar. When I get the card I think if I have the money I will be reach. I collect it form my cousin he told me it cost like 5 us dollar . Some phone card describe about their culture and customs. Like New Zealand phone cards are always use kiwi. Kiwi is a small bird but it is the national symbol of New Zealand. When I fell sad I lock my room and play with the cards and try to find the best one .
I have coins from 34 countries. Most of them I got from my father he had a large collection of coins. I have coins form different countries but you don’t get them in the maps, cause the countries may be existed or the change their official name. like Soviet Union , Yugoslavia, Burma  etc. Some of the countries are using the different coin like the European countries using the Euro now. The coins are made by the metal like silver, bronze, aluminum copper etc I don’t have any gold coin I wish I have . If I get a gold coin I will be very happy. Also I have some paper notes like US 2. Now I am going my to tell u one of my favorite  coin. My grandmother gave me. It is like 500 years old. When India was  under Mughal emperor . But Bangladesh was a independence state. That time the people using the silver coins . I love the coin. It has the historical value.
    I miss my cards and coins very much. I left them in Bangladesh when I came here. But next time when I go their I will bring them here.

Facebook is a social network. It helps people to come closer. I spent my free time in facebook. When I came in the USA I spend my whole day in facebook. It helps to meet with the friends. It is my good friend.

Rikshaw

Rickshaw is a wonderful and romantic vehicle. It has three wheel. It has no engine. Bangladesh's capital city Dhaka is called "Rickshaw Capital of the World".

Journey in Rickshaw is very romantic because it goes too slow and you can see around. it has only two seat and a separate seat for the driver. when someone travel  in rickshaw he can feel the attraction of the nature.
Rickshaw makes a lot of traffic because it goes too slow. It kills a lot of times in our daily life.

Love for Indonesia

Two days ago a big earthquake hit in Indonesia. More than 1200 people died in this earthquake and another 3000 people are missing. many of the are injured and they don't get enough medicine and doctor.

We can help the people. The people need our support. We love the people all in Indonesia. We are always with them.

My Speech tomorrow

            Tomorrow I am going to give my speech about collecting phone card and coin. I am very excited for this, but I'm afraid about this. 5 years ago I practiced one month for a speech but one plane broke down all of my hopes. After that i never give any speech in any where. Now I want to give a speech in front of all from different countries. Fabiola , Gorge, Sujin & Yuri already gave their speech in front of all. I think they did very well. But I want to make my one best. Oh ! One thing i forget to tell you .. One request to all .....

Oh! I  am going to give my speech on Thursday in this week. My subject is about my obsession. My tropic is collecting phone card and coins. It is  my favorite hobby. when I was only 11 years old I started collecting phone card. I collect many of them from my elder brother. I left them at  my home in Bangladesh. I miss them very much.

Mohabaatein

"Mohabbatein" is a Hindi movie. In my life I like only two romantic movie. they are Titanic & Mohabbatein. When I was 14, I saw the movie first time. After that I watch this movie all most hundred times.

The movie written and directed by Aditya Chopra.The main actors are in the movie are Amitabh Bachchan & Shahrukh Khan.

The movie start with 3 different person met in rail station. They were going to a college ( Gurukul ). They meet in the night and become friend. Their principal is very strict about discipline. He picked the best students form different universities for his college and he has high expectations of them. He says that students who become romantically involved will be expelled. Unfortunately three friends fall in Love. Then they meet Raj, With flowers and a violin in his hand.  Raj wants to join Gurukul as a music teacher. When he joins the college he begins to break the rules. Raj was once also a student in Gurukul, and the girl he fell in love with was none other than the principal's  daughter, Megha. when the principal knows about their love he expelled Raj without meet with Raj . then Megha committed suicide . Raj continues to love her. Megha lives Raj's imagination and speaks to him when he is alone.

When the principal realizes that three students fall in love and Raj helps them, he wants to remove Raj form the institute. After many events the Principal realises that love and change are indeed important parts of life and softens . The colleges transformed forever into a singing, dancing and loving school.

Eid Day

This was my first Eid in the USA. My cousin & I were wearing new traditional cloth. After that we went to the Mosque for prayer. Then we came back our house. I called my parents, siblings and all friends and family member in Bangladesh or USA. Then we went one one of my uncle's house for lunch. I came back my home at evening. We had a great party in my house. We served many delicious food in the party. all of my relative were came in my house. I had a great Eid in this year.

Eid Mubarak

"Eid Mubarak"

today is Eid . The largest festival our religion. After one month fasting we celebrate this day. We meet with friends family and all. we hug everyone & say Eid Mubarak. In the morning we wear new dress and go our mosque for prayer. after that we visit our relatives house. we give party in our house. Now I miss my family & friends in Bangladesh. I call them and tell them Eid Mubarak.

I am very upset. When I came back from college I remembered my old friends. That's make me very upset. I cried in bus. I use my sunglasses because I didn't want someone see me that i was crying. I miss you friend. I miss my family. Next Sunday i have a special day but i don't have any friend with me. 

Little Angle

I am going to tell everyone about a Little Angle. His name is Affan. He is only 3 years old. He is my one & only nephew. He is now in Singapore with his parents. I miss him very much. Everyday I talk with him in yahoo messenger. We are doing video call  to each other. That's why I can see him everyday. When we lived with each other he always came to me and say something was happening. He saved my room from other.  One day one of my cousin slept at my room . when Affan saw this he shouted and say Onjon( he call me in this name) who slept in you room. My cousin shocked and say sorry i never come in your Onjon's room. I have many toys in my room. He have a lot of toys but he wants to play with my toys.

Ramadan

             Ramadan is a holy month for all Muslim. In this month all Muslim are fasting form dawn until sunset. Fasting means refrain from eating, drinking, smoking. Ramadan teaches us to be a good people. It teaches us how the poor people pass their day without food. In the whole month we are praying for everyone. ask for forgiveness our past sins and try to do good deeds. Everyday in Ramadan we get up before dawn to eat Saheri  ( it means eat something before dawn). After that we eat after sunset it call Iftar. Ramadan teach  us discipline, sacrifice self-control, sympathy for unfortunate people and charity. Sexual activities are also forbidden during fasting. We take ifter with every family member sometimes with the friends. We take special food during Ramadan. Fasting is nor compolsary in childhood. 

       All Muslim should start once reached puberty, healthy and have no illnesses or disabilities.
